Cardiac electrophysiology is the area of medicine dealing with various abnormal heart rhythms. This can be when the heart beats “too slowly”, “too quickly” or sometimes “not at all” (i.e. stops) 

Typical patients for these services include those with:

  • Dizziness, passing out (syncope),
  • Electrical conduction problems (heart block), 
  • Supraventricular tachycardia or ventricular tachycardia,
