About Us

Opened in February 2008, the Bethesda Heart Hospital is a 39-bed heart hospital with 16 private cardiac intensive care beds, 23 private cardiovascular telemetry patient rooms and a dedicated, separate entrance to provide comprehensive cardiovascular services all under one roof.

In addition to a nationally renown team of cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, nurses and clinical staff, the Bethesda Heart Hospital features a noninvasive cardiac testing lab, two cardiac catheterization labs, an electrophysiology lab, and two open-heart operating suites. Adjacent to Bethesda Hospital East’s Main Entrance, the Bethesda Heart Hospital has a separate dedicated entrance for visitors, as well as a dedicated Emergency Department elevator for patients being admitted directly to the Heart Hospital by emergency transport or air ambulance.
